I. Introduction of Panelists
II. Ashley Craig of the Environmental Law & Policy Center will start with a presentation of the "big picture" - the "state of renewable energy" in Illinois and her vision of how and what it will take to get us to the promised land in which Illinois runs entirely on renewable sources of energy.
III. Brandon Leavitt of Solar Service Inc. will next offer his view of what it's like to be a provider of renewable energy in Illinois, the obstacles his business has faced and continues to face as a provider, and what policies and practices would make it easier for him and his business to help get us to the promised land of renewable energy.
IV. Jason LaFleur of USGBC/Illinois Chapter will focus his presentation on the individual household - the "small picture" so to speak. He'll address what we as individuals can do in order to transform our dwellings into buildings powered by renewable energy, or help support and foster policies that will nurture and further develop renewable energy in our communities, locally and state-wide.
V. Discussion among panelists and Q. & A. with audience members
